We are looking for a Laboratory Director to lead our full service clinical laboratory.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee inpatient and outpatient lab functions
- Perform project/service research
- Develop goals to ensure the highest possible level of patient and referring physician satisfaction
- Develop a strategic plan to meet the needs of the community and grow the service line
- Oversee coordination of test processing across all entities of Memorial Health
- Create innovative staffing models
- Coordinate clinical training of technical college students in the laboratory
Lab Specialties:
- Hematology
- Coagulation
- Urinalysis
- Chemistry
- Serology
- Blood Bank
- Microbiology
What You'll Bring/Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Medical Technology with two (2) years experience in laboratory management and infection control, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Medical Technologist (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification.
