Role Summary: We are seeking a Networking & System Administration trained with experience of 1 to 2 years. The candidate should be a good learner having hands-on experience in troubleshooting Microsoft & Linux Operating System, LAN and related infrastructure. Have experience in supporting Access Control System and CCTV. The candidate must have very good verbal and written English communication skills and residing in Bangalore and have experience in working in IT company. Must possess a good combination of soft and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to project infrastructure and Lab
- Provide support at customer place when needed
- Install and maintain servers, workstations, routers, switches, firewalls, security tools and related infrastructure
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Perform system backup and recovery
- Diagnose hardware and software faults and troubleshoot operating systems errors
- Ensure all Servers, Network and Lab infrastructure comply with best practices
- Liaise with clients and employees to handle requests and issues
- Research and recommend new approach to troubleshoot a problem
Required Skills And Qualifications
Technical Expertise:- Network and system administration
- Hands-on experience in Operating Systems like Windows & Linux and its troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting LAN & related infrastructure
- Basic experience in managing DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policy, VLAN
- Knowledge in Access Control System and CCTV
- Familiarity with backup technologies
- Ability to follow technical documentation
- Able to understand & write scripts in Batch/Powershell etc
- Soft Skills:
- Communication - Very good verbal and written English communication to collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues
- Time management - Ability to prioritize critical issues and projects to ensure SLAs are met
- Problem-solving - Applying logic and analytical thinking to diagnose and troubleshoot both simple and complex issues
- Documentation - Maintaining detailed and up-to-date documentation of configurations, issues, processes, and resolutions
- Teamwork - Coordinating with IT teams, managers, and end-users to deliver technology solutions
- Customer service - Patience and friendliness when assisting end-users and addressing requests
- Learning - Enthusiasm for continuously upgrading skills and keeping up with technological advances
Prerequisites
Good learner, must be residing in Bangalore and ready to work in Hybrid work culture
Qualification
Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology with training/certification in networking
Desirable Qualities
Must possess a good combination of soft and technical skills as given above.

Specialization Description
Responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to employees for a range of hardware and software related systems. Responds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with users, which includes trouble shooting, fault rectification and problem escalation. Provides effective and timely resolution of users’ problems, queries or complaints. Assists in hardware and software evaluation and recommends upgrades or improvements to IT infrastructure.

Senior support level position requiring a broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools typically obtained through extensive work experience though may require vocational or technical training. Typically works under limited supervision for routine situations whilst providing assistance and training to lower level employees. Generally works on tasks/problems that are not routine and requires analysis to understand. Provides assistance and training to lower level employees.
