IT Back Officer

Responsibilities of the Candidate: Analyze PSU shipyard RFPs/RFQs and extract technical and commercial requirements. Prepare detailed BOMs and costing sheets for LAN infrastructure (switches, routers, racks, cabling, etc.). Coordinate with OEMs and distributors to obtain quotations, datasheets, and warranty details. Collaborate with sales, procurement, and technical teams to finalize bid strategy. Ensure compliance with GEM portal norms, MSME clauses, and Make in India mandates. Maintain costing templates, vendor databases, and price trackers. Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Electronics, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in pre-sales or costing for IT/networking projects. Strong understanding of LAN/WAN components. Proficiency in Excel costing models. Vendor negotiation skills. Advanced MS Excel ERP systems GEM portal Experience working with PSU or defense tenders (e.g., GRSE, GSL, MDL). Familiarity with government procurement formats, annexures, and documentation.
