Job Description:
Role: Automation Testing
Skill: Robot Framework, Python, API testing
Experience: 6+
Location: Bengaluru
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency):
Must-Have**
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on API testing (REST and event-based services) and end-to-end validation.
- Proven experience testing e-commerce platforms, ideally with exposure to Hybris.
- Hands-on expertise with Robot Framework (Python) and experience with Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent UI test frameworks.
- Strong background in regression testing - both manual and automated, ensuring full flow coverage.
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (e.g., K6, LoadRunner) and integration with test pipelines.
- Experience defining and maintaining monitoring and alerting for test and production environments.
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in Jira, QMetry, or similar test management tools.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Good to have:
- Experience helping teams transition from manual to automation- first QA practices.
- Understanding of cloud-based test environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Exposure to AI-assisted testing or self-healing frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong sense of ownership and curiosity to improve processes and product reliability
Minimum Qualification:
Candidate should have 15 years of continuous fulltime education.
