Transshipment Assistant
We are searching for an experienced Assistant at our Mumbai facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Handle transshipment queries received from customers on Pan-India basis and ensure quick response.
Regular follow-up with every Transshipment port for the first connections.
To collate every Load List per each sailing vessel ex. POL in India and map all containers besides the HOT Load boxes per each Load List by Transshipment hub/port.
To maintain weekly & monthly Dwell Time report by Transshipment ports for the MIS reporting to the respective Trade desk.
To keep control on backlog of actual transit time on various service. To ensure mention the Avg. Dwell time at every Transshipment port.
Close engagements with important/VIP customers and ensure timely updates communicated to them with regards to status of their shipments.
To assist collate VIP Milestone reports for few VIP a/c as per requirements.
Closely monitor and report Reefer movements especially for seasonal Cargoes.
Maintain close coordination and reporting of Transshipment Delays and connections at all times.
To ensure to provide timely DELAY reports + escalate to the Trade Managers on delays at TSP ports and for prompt escalations of HOT Loads.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Shipping Industry
Good communication Skills – written & verbal.
Thorough working knowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel + PowerPoint).
Good analytical skills
Strong report writing and record keeping ability.
Result oriented and highly motivated self-driven individual.
