<strong><br> Initial 3-Month Contract with Potential for Full-Time Conversion<br></strong> <strong><br></strong>Medicilon is seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist to support our Pharmacology and Biology team, with a strong focus on in vitro and ex vivo assay development, flow cytometry, and immunology-based platforms. This role will support client-driven research programs in a fast-paced CRO environment and offers the opportunity to transition into a full-time position based on performance and business needs.<br><br>
</div><div>The ideal candidate is a hands-on scientist who can independently design and execute studies, troubleshoot complex assays, and communicate scientific findings clearly to both internal teams and external clients.<br><br>
</div><div>Key Responsibilities<br><br>
</div><div>
<strong>Scientific Execution & Assay Development</strong><br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Lead and execute in vitro and ex vivo pharmacology studies, including protocol design, assay execution, data analysis, and reporting</li>
<li>Design, optimize, and troubleshoot multicolor flow cytometry panels, including compensation, antibody titration, and gating strategies</li>
<li>Perform immune functional assays such as T cell activation, cytokine profiling, macrophage polarization, and proliferation assays</li>
<li>Analyze and interpret complex datasets using FlowJo, FCS Express, or equivalent software</li>
<li>Support development and optimization of cell-based assays and protein analysis platforms</li>
<li>Maintain accurate experimental documentation using ELN systems</li>

<strong>Client & Project Support</strong><br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Support client-facing studies by contributing scientific input, troubleshooting, and data interpretation</li>
<li>Collaborate with project managers, study directors, and cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and deliverables</li>
<li>Prepare technical summaries, reports, and presentations for internal and external discussions</li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Team & Platform Support</strong><br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Assist with mentoring junior staff and supporting onboarding/training activities</li>
<li>Support continuous improvement of assay platforms, SOPs, and laboratory workflows</li>
<li>Contribute scientific ideas to expand pharmacology and biologics capabilities</li>
</ul><div>Qualifications<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Ph.D. in Immunology, Cell Biology, Pharmacology, or related field preferred; MS or BS candidates with strong industry experience will also be considered</li>
<li>Strong hands-on experience with multicolor flow cytometry and immune-based assays</li>
<li>Experience developing and troubleshooting in vitro and/or ex vivo pharmacology assays</li>
<li>Proficiency with FlowJo or equivalent data analysis software</li>
<li>Experience with cytokine detection platforms such as ELISA, MSD, or Luminex preferred</li>
<li>Prior biotech, pharma, or CRO experience strongly preferred</li>
<li>Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li>
