Uhapo Health Services is looking for a Medical Writer to be based at its Goregaon office. The role is ideal for a candidate with a strong academic and research-oriented mindset, rather than a conventional industry or promotional writing background.
The incumbent will be responsible for developing high-quality scientific and medical content, including research summaries, literature reviews, study reports, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, white papers, survey reports, patient journey documentation, conference reports, grant proposals, and academic communication material. The role will require close coordination with clinicians, researchers, statisticians, public health professionals, and internal project teams.
The candidate should be comfortable reading medical literature, understanding clinical study designs, interpreting research data, and presenting complex information in a clear, structured, and credible manner. A basic understanding of biostatistics, epidemiology, oncology research, real-world evidence, patient-reported outcomes, and publication ethics will be preferred.
We are looking for someone who values accuracy, discipline, referencing, scientific integrity, and clarity of thought. Prior experience in academic writing, clinical research documentation, public health research, medical journalism, or manuscript development will be an advantage.
A strong command of English is essential. The candidate should also be comfortable with literature searches, citation formats, data interpretation, and working on multiple research-based projects with timelines.
