Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Medical Writer to join our team. The Medical writer will work closely with the medical affairs and marketing teams to create scientific, educational, and promotional content related to our medical devices and healthcare initiatives.
This role is ideal for candidates interested in medical communication, scientific writing, healthcare content development, and digital medical education. If you are enthusiastic about combining science, writing, and healthcare innovation, we would love to meet you.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and editing scientific manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and journal submission documents
- Support literature review, reference management, manuscript formatting, and preparation of tables/figures for publications
- Assist in preparing scientific and medical content related to diabetic neuropathy, diabetic foot, vascular assessment, and related healthcare topics
- Support the preparation of brochures, presentations, website content, newsletters, blogs, educational material, and social media content
- Assist in literature search, data compilation, and summarisation of scientific articles and clinical studies
- Help develop content for training modules, medical education programs, and product-related communication
- Work with the marketing team to create medically accurate and engaging healthcare content
- Assist in drafting case studies, white papers, clinical summaries, and conference-related material
- Support the preparation of regulatory and clinical documentation when required
- Review and proofread scientific and marketing materials for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- Stay updated with recent developments in medical devices, diabetes care, neuropathy, and healthcare technology
Qualifications and Requirements
- Students or graduates from Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biotechnology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, or related healthcare fields
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in medical writing, scientific writing, manuscript writing, or healthcare content development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong interest in medical writing, scientific communication, and healthcare content development
- Good understanding of medical terminology and scientific literature
- Ability to simplify complex medical concepts into easy-to-understand content
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Knowledge of digital content creation and social media is an added advantage
- Prior experience in content writing, blogging, or medical writing will be an added advantage
