We are seeking a fast, highly accurate, and sharp On-Site Medical Transcriptionist / Radiology transcriptionist to join our clinical team. In this role, you will work directly inside the scanning room physically alongside our Radiologist.
Your primary responsibility is real-time, hand-to-hand typing. As the radiologist performs patient scans (Ultrasound, CT, X-ray, MRI) and verbalizes their findings out loud, you will type the official report simultaneously. This allows us to deliver accurate patient reports the exact moment the scan is completed.
Key Responsibilities
- Real-Time Typing: Sit alongside the radiologist during live patient scans and type their spoken findings immediately into the reporting system.
- Immediate Delivery: Finalise according to format of radiology reports hand-to-hand so they are ready for the patient or referring doctor immediately after the scan.
- Accuracy Control: Ensure highly technical medical terms, measurements, and anatomical findings are typed perfectly without errors. All these Findings and Terms will be Spoken by our Radiologist.
- EHR Management: Quickly enter patient details and navigate our PACS software during live procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Typing Speed: Minimum of 50-60 Words Per Minute (WPM) with near-perfect accuracy under fast-paced live conditions. First Week problems and adjustments can be acceptable.
- Medical Terminology: Good understanding of healthcare vocabulary, specifically anatomy and radiology terms, Or have Experienced in any Diagnostic center or Hospital.
- Physical Presence: Ability to work full-time on-site and move between scanning rooms as needed.
- High Focus: Ability to concentrate and filter out background machine noise (like MRI or ultrasound clicks) to hear the doctor clearly.
- Professional Conduct: Comfortable working in a live clinical environment with patients present.
