Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Medical Superintendent (MS) to lead the clinical and operational functions of the hospital. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines, maintaining high standards of patient care, and ensuring efficient hospital administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day medical and clinical operations of the hospital
- Ensure compliance with NMC norms, NABH standards, and statutory regulations
- Supervise and coordinate activities of medical staff, consultants, and clinical departments
- Implement and monitor clinical protocols, quality standards, and patient safety measures
- Collaborate with department heads for smooth functioning of hospital services
- Manage hospital resources, manpower planning, and patient flow efficiency
- Lead medical audits, clinical meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
- Handle medico-legal cases, clinical governance, and risk management
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting as per regulatory requirements
- Promote a patient-centric culture and continuous improvement in healthcare delivery
Eligibility Criteria (As per NMC Guidelines)
- MBBS with Postgraduate Degree (MD/MS) in a clinical discipline from a recognized institution
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in a recognized Medical College / Tertiary Care Hospital
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in administrative/leadership role (Medical Superintendent / Deputy MS / HOD level preferred)
- Strong knowledge of hospital administration, clinical governance, and regulatory compliance
