Job Description: Receptionist – Clinic / Healthcare Setting
Position Title: Receptionist
Location: Clinic / Healthcare Facility
Reports To: Clinic Admin / COO/
Role Summary
The Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk operations, ensuring smooth patient flow, and providing a professional and courteous first point of contact for patients and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a polite and professional manner
- Manage patient appointments, scheduling, and registrations in HMIS.
- Maintain and update patient records and documentation in EMR.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries.
- Coordinate with doctors and clinical staff for patient flow
- Collect payments and generate bills/receipts as required
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Assist patients with basic information regarding services and procedures
Skills & Qualifications
- Good communication skills (local language+ Hindi + basic English)
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Excel, clinic software)
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and courteous behavior
- Ability to handle patients calmly and efficiently
Education & Experience
- Minimum: Graduate or equivalent
- Prior experience in clinic/hospital front desk preferred

Working Conditions
- Clinic working hours (including weekends if required)
