Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Receptionist role based in Bengaluru. The Medical Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients, greeting visitors, managing the front desk, and maintaining a welcoming, professional environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include answering phone calls, handling inquiries with discretion, scheduling and confirming appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records. The role also involves coordinating with medical and counseling staff, managing waiting room flow, and supporting smooth clinic operations. The Medical Receptionist will handle basic administrative tasks such as billing support, document management, and data entry while ensuring strict confidentiality and sensitivity around sexual and reproductive health concerns.
Qualifications
- Strong appointment management skills, including Appointment Scheduling and coordination within a Medical Office setting.
- Professional front-desk and Receptionist Duties experience, with a focus on client service, confidentiality, and organization.
- Clear and courteous Phone Etiquette, with the ability to handle sensitive inquiries and provide accurate information.
- Basic understanding of Medical Terminology relevant to sexual health or a willingness to learn quickly.
- Prior experience in a clinic, hospital, or healthcare office is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working with sensitive topics and a non-judgmental, empathetic approach to all clients.
- Minimum high school diploma; a certificate or diploma in healthcare administration or a related field is an added benefit.
