About the role
As a Medical Patient Operations Associate, you own the patient journey from the moment an
enquiry comes in to the moment a patient returns home after treatment. You are the
operational backbone of the CureMeAbroad experience. You make sure nothing falls through
the cracks across time zones, hospitals, and clinical handoffs. This role gives you deep
exposure to international healthcare operations and direct impact on patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end clinical case evaluation by analyzing complex patient records,
histories, and reports, and providing actionable insights to internal clinical and
operations teams.
Own and drive strategic coordination with international partner hospitals, including
treatment planning, second opinion alignment, and escalation management for critical
cases.
Oversee and optimize end-to-end case workflows, ensuring efficiency in timelines,
documentation accuracy, and cross-functional stakeholder communication.
Govern the creation and quality assurance of all critical patient documentation,
including treatment plans, medical summaries, visa documentation, and financial
estimates, ensuring global compliance standards.
Manage and improve AI-human workflow integration, identifying gaps, reducing
inefficiencies, and leading escalation frameworks for high-risk or complex cases.
Drive post-treatment care strategy, including recovery tracking, outcome analysis, and
patient experience improvement initiatives.
Act as a primary escalation point for complex cases, working closely with hospital
leadership and internal teams to resolve high-impact operational and clinical
challenges.
Establish and enforce SOPs, quality benchmarks, and operational best practices across
patient operations.
Ensure data integrity and compliance by maintaining audit-ready patient records
aligned with international healthcare standards.
Mentor and guide junior team members, contributing to team capability building and
operational excellence.
Must Have:
3-5 Years Relevant Experience.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Ability to interpret clinical data and communicate it effectively to non-clinical
stakeholders
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Good to Have:
Experience in hospital operations, IPD coordination, or medical records management
Exposure to multi-specialty case handling
Interest in healthcare operations, medical tourism, or patient experience management
