Role Description
MediVaah is seeking a dedicated Medical Oncologist for a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The Medical Oncologist will manage the diagnosis, treatment, and overall care of patients with cancer. Responsibilities include developing and overseeing personalized oncology treatment plans using chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and other medical interventions. The role also involves coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, monitoring treatment progress, and providing compassionate support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medicine and Oncology, with expertise in diagnosing and developing treatment plans for various types of cancer
- Experience in administering and managing treatments such as Radiation Therapy and Chemotherapy
- Strong knowledge of cancer care, including understanding disease progression and advanced treatment methodologies
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to provide emotional support and clear explanations to patients and their families
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Oncology or equivalent qualifications
- Valid medical license to practice in India
