Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and treat various types of cancer using chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
* Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary tumor board.
* Provide empathetic patient counseling and manage treatment-related side effects.
* Oversee the oncology day-care unit and ensure the highest standards of clinical safety and protocols.
* Engage with patients across various socio-economic backgrounds, including those seeking care under the PMJAY (Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana) scheme.
Requirements
* Education: MD/DNB in Internal Medicine followed by DM/DNB in Medical Oncology.
* Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in a clinical setting.
* Skills: Strong clinical acumen, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centric care.
* Registration: Must be registered with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or relevant State Medical Council.
