Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dera Bassi for a Medical Officer. The Medical Officer will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing patients, formulating and implementing treatment plans, and ensuring proper follow-up care. Additional duties include coordinating with other medical professionals, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring adherence to clinical safety and quality standards. Supporting the hospital's emergency response team and participating in training and professional development activities are also integral to this role.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of medical conditions
- Proficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate medical records
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including surgeons, specialists, and support staff
- Knowledge of emergency medical protocols and the capability to handle critical care cases
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdepartmental coordination
- Experience in hospital settings, particularly in multidisciplinary or specialised healthcare environments, is preferred
- Qualifications: MBBS or equivalent recognized medical degree; additional certifications or specialty training in areas like emergency care, ICU, or any other field of expertise will be an advantage
