Role Description The Medical Nail Technician role at Calixta Salon is a full-time, on-site position based in Prayagraj. The technician will provide specialized nail care services, including manicures and pedicures with attention to nail health, hygiene, and safety. Daily responsibilities include assessing client nail and foot conditions, recommending appropriate treatments, performing nail cleaning, trimming, shaping, and cuticle care, and applying nail polish or nail art as requested. The role involves maintaining a clean and sanitized workstation, following salon protocols and infection control standards, and keeping tools and equipment in safe working order. The technician will also consult with clients, explain services, manage appointments, and support an outstanding customer experience in collaboration with the broader salon team.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational skills in Nail Care and Nails, with an understanding of nail health and sanitation practices.
- Proficiency in Nail Art and decorative techniques, including polish application, designs, and finishes.
- Experience performing Pedicures and related foot care services safely and comfortably for clients.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including clear communication, empathy, and professional client interactions.
- Relevant certification or training in nail technology, cosmetology, or a related field; medical or podiatry-related nail care training is an advantage.
- Knowledge of hygiene, sterilization, and infection control standards in salon environments.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, manage multiple appointments, and work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak periods, as needed by the salon.
