About the Role
We are hiring Medical Imaging Specialists to support a technology-driven healthcare project focused
on medical data annotation and image segmentation. This role involves working on radiological
datasets to enable AI/ML model development in medical imaging.
Qualification
• B.Sc. in Radiology / Imaging Technology (Mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of Human Anatomy & Radiological Anatomy
Experience
- 0 to 4 years (Freshers with strong academic knowledge can apply)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-precision medical image annotation and segmentation across modalities such as X-ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound
- Identify and label anatomical structures, abnormalities, and pathological findings accurately
- Work on AI training datasets ensuring pixel-level and region-level segmentation quality
- Maintain annotation consistency as per project guidelines and clinical standards
- Validate and review annotated datasets for accuracy and completeness (QA/QC checks)
- Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and data teams for continuous feedback and improvement
- Handle and interpret medical images in DICOM format using relevant tools
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and healthcare data handling protocols
- Participate in continuous training on evolving AI applications in radiology and medical imaging
Required Skills
- Human anatomy (cross-sectional anatomy preferred)
- Radiological imaging modalities (CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound)• Hands-on or theoretical knowledge of:
- Medical annotation & segmentation techniques
- DICOM standards and PACS systems
- Familiarity with annotation tools (e.g., bounding boxes, polygon segmentation, semantic segmentation concepts)
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, image tools, web platforms)
Good to Have (Added Strength)
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts in healthcare imaging
• Experience with annotation tools such as: 3D Slicer, ITK-SNAP, Labelbox, V7, or similar platforms
• Understanding of: Tumour segmentation, organ delineation, lesion detection
• Prior experience in medical data processing or clinical radiology setups
