Peacock Design Solutions is looking for a talented
Medical Illustration Artist to create scientifically accurate and visually engaging illustrations for healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, research, and educational organizations. The ideal candidate should combine strong artistic skills with a solid understanding of human anatomy and medical concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed anatomical and physiological illustrations.
- Design medical textbook, journal, and e-learning graphics.
- Produce surgical procedure illustrations and step-by-step medical diagrams.
- Develop illustrations for pharmaceutical products and mechanisms of action.
- Create patient education materials, healthcare infographics, and medical presentations.
- Collaborate with doctors, researchers, medical writers, and designers to ensure scientific accuracy.
- Deliver print-ready and digital artwork in multiple formats.
- Revise artwork based on client and medical expert feedback.
Required Skills
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong illustration and drawing skills.
- Good understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology.
- Ability to create both vector and raster illustrations.
- High attention to detail and scientific accuracy.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in medical, biological, or scientific illustration.
- Knowledge of 3D medical visualization using Blender, Maya, or Cinema 4D is an advantage.
- Experience with healthcare publishing or pharmaceutical projects.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted illustration workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Fine Arts, Medical Illustration, Biomedical Visualization, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of professional illustration experience.
- A strong portfolio showcasing medical or scientific illustrations.
