📍 Gurgaon/ Mumbai | 🕐 Full-time | 💼 5–6 Yrs Exp
About OneRX
Have you ever wondered if you were looking for the bus and missed it?
OneRX is offering one such opportunity.
We are building the AI-powered second opinion for super-specialists across the world — starting with oncology in India. The infrastructure that ensures the best clinical thinking on earth reaches every doctor, every patient, every decision. Regardless of city. Regardless of hospital. Regardless of what they can afford.
700+ oncologists already use us daily. The world is watching.
Can you build the engagement engine that brings the oncology community together around this vision?
The Role
You've done this before — many times. You've picked up the phone and personally invited a Department Head at TMC to chair a panel.
You've sat with a pharma brand manager, understood their scientific objectives, and turned that into a symposium agenda that oncologists actually wanted to attend. You've troubleshot a venue AV failure two hours before a live event and no one in the room ever knew.
You are not a coordinator. You are not a logistics manager. You are someone who owns the entire lifecycle of a medical event — from the first sponsorship conversation to the last feedback form — and you do it with clinical credibility and operational precision.
That's exactly who we're looking for.
What You'll Do
Events — Offline & Online
→ Conceptualise, design, and execute oncology medical events end-to-end — CME programs, tumor boards, advisory boards, national symposia, satellite sessions, and webinar series
→ Own both formats equally: in-person events across metro and tier-2 cities, and online events with production quality that keeps doctors engaged past the first 20 minutes
→ Manage all logistics — venue, AV, faculty travel, catering, platform setup, registration, certificates — without needing a checklist handed to you
Agenda & Content Design
→ Design scientific agendas in consultation with faculty — not templated formats, but programs shaped around what oncologists actually want to discuss → Brief speakers on objectives, flow, and time — and hold them to it on the day
→ Develop session formats: case-based discussions, panel debates, live polling, interactive Q&A — whatever makes the room work
Pharma Sponsorship
→ Pitch and close sponsorship deals with pharma brand managers and medical affairs teams — convert a client brief into a signed agreement
→ Manage sponsor expectations throughout: from agenda approvals and content reviews to post-event reports and ROI summaries
→ Navigate UCPMP compliance on every event without it slowing you down
KOL Engagement
→ Personally identify, reach out to, and invite KOLs — pick up the phone, send the right message, follow up without being a nuisance
→ Build and maintain genuine long-term relationships with oncology faculty across India's top cancer centres
→ Handle faculty coordination end-to-end: honoraria, conflict of interest disclosures, content approvals, briefing calls, and on-the-day management
What We're Looking For
→ 5–6 years in medical events at companies like Mede, Voice of Healthcare, Springer Healthcare, IQVIA Medical Affairs, Invictus, Omnicom Health, or similar — where running oncology events was your daily job
→ Proven track record of closing pharma sponsorships independently — you've had the client conversation, negotiated the scope, and signed the deal → Someone who has personally called KOLs to invite them to events — not just sent an email blast, not just asked the pharma rep to do it
→ Hands-on agenda design experience — you know what a good scientific session looks like and can build one from a blank page
→ Equal comfort with offline and online formats — you've run both and know the operational differences cold
→ Based in Gurgaon/ Mumbai
This Role Is NOT For You If
→ You've managed events from inside a pharma company — we want someone who has delivered events as a vendor or agency, not as the client
→ Your sponsorship experience is limited to processing POs — you've never actually sold a sponsorship
→ You've only assisted on events and haven't owned one end-to-end
→ Your KOL invitations go out via a pharma rep's WhatsApp — you don't have your own relationships
→ Non-medical events background — tech, BFSI, wellness, or general health awareness doesn't count here
What You Get
→ ESOPs — early employee equity that means something
→ A platform that 700+ oncologists already trust — you're not cold calling; you're building on belief
→ Direct line to the founding team; your community intelligence shapes the product
→ The chance to become the face of OneRX in the oncology world
→ Building something of yours — a footprint worth leaving
How to Apply
Send a short note — not a templated cover letter — to vivek.slaria@originbluy.com with:
→ 2–3 oncology events you've personally run — format, scale, KOLs involved, pharma sponsor
→ A sponsorship deal you closed — what you sold, to whom, deal size if you can share
→ Which oncology KOLs you have a direct relationship with today — names
We respond to every application within 5 business days. No recruiters please.
