About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Learning Development Engineer supporting our client's Interventional Cardiology Therapies team. This role will develop machine learning algorithms to deliver life-changing medical devices to patients and clinicians.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop machine learning models for a guidance system.
  • Organize, clean and manipulate medical imaging datasets.
  • Augment datasets to improve model performance.
  • Train, tune and validate ML models for classification and segmentation tasks.
  • Collaborate with other ML scientists, algorithm engineers and data engineers to achieve project goals.
  • Create a strong team culture around high expectations and high performance.
  • In all actions, demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree, preferably in the engineering science or similar discipline.
  • Experience with image processing, machine learning, model development.
  • Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, Scikit-learn and Scipy.
  • 0-2 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with machine learning model development for medical images.
  • Experience with computer vision.
  • Experience with GitHub, Python, repositories and/or Docker containers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and collaboration skills.
