MD Medicine – Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of adult diseases (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, infections)
• Conduct physical exams and interpret lab tests, X-rays, ECGs, etc.
• Manage chronic illnesses and provide long-term care
• Handle emergency/internal medicine cases in hospitals
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment plans
• Refer patients to specialists when needed

Clinical Duties

• Daily ward rounds (for admitted patients)
• OPD (Outpatient Department) consultations
• ICU patient management (in some settings)
• Case documentation and medical record keeping

• Strong diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills
• Knowledge of internal medicine protocols
• Communication and patient counseling
• Ability to handle critical care situations
