Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Doctor role based in Mumbai. The Medical Doctor will provide evidence-based primary and preventive care, conduct thorough patient consultations, and review medical histories and EMR records to develop appropriate treatment and wellness plans. Responsibilities include ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and coordinating with wellness experts to offer comprehensive care. The role involves educating patients and families on health risks, lifestyle modifications, and chronic disease management, while ensuring accurate documentation within EMR systems. The Medical Doctor will also contribute to clinical protocols, support quality improvement initiatives, and uphold ethical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Licensed Medical Doctor (MBBS or equivalent) with valid registration from the appropriate medical council; postgraduate qualification (MD/MS or equivalent) in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related specialty is an advantage.
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and management of common acute and chronic conditions, with a focus on preventive and holistic care.
- Experience using EMR systems and digital health platforms, with the ability to maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient counseling, multidisciplinary collaboration, and community health education.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, ethical medical practice, and continuous professional development.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based clinical environment and adapt to evolving protocols and health technologies.
- Prior experience in preventive medicine, telehealth, or family practice is beneficial, as is familiarity with wellness programs and health scoring tools.
