15–20 Years in Clinical Practice with significant leadership experience.
Expectation from this role:
To provide strategic clinical leadership across Zoi Hospitals, ensuring high standards of patient care, clinical outcomes, patient safety, medical ethics, doctor engagement and clinical governance across all centres.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide overall clinical leadership and direction across all Zoi hospitals.
- Establish and drive clinical standards, protocols and evidence-based practices across specialties.
- Ensure delivery of safe, ethical, patient-centred and high-quality medical care.
- Monitor clinical outcomes, mortality, morbidity, complications, readmissions and other key clinical indicators.
- Lead clinical governance and ensure effective functioning of medical committees and review mechanisms.
- Drive compliance with NABH standards, clinical protocols, statutory requirements and medical regulations.
- Work closely with the Quality department to strengthen patient safety, clinical quality and accreditation readiness.
- Review significant clinical incidents, sentinel events and medico-legal cases and ensure appropriate corrective action.
- Strengthen clinical documentation, medical records, consent processes and continuity of care.
- Drive clinical audits, peer reviews, morbidity and mortality reviews and evidence-based improvement initiatives.
- Establish and monitor clinical KPIs for departments, consultants and clinical teams.
- Partner with department heads and consultants to improve clinical performance, productivity and patient outcomes.
- Lead initiatives to improve patient experience, clinical communication and patient grievance resolution.
- Support recruitment, credentialing, privileging, onboarding and performance evaluation of consultants and senior clinical staff.
- Develop and implement medical education, CME, training and clinical capability-building programmes.
- Build strong engagement, collaboration and accountability among consultants and clinical teams.
- Promote ethical medical practice, professional conduct and adherence to organisational clinical policies.
- Provide clinical inputs for new specialties, services, technology, equipment and expansion plans.
- Support business and growth initiatives while ensuring that clinical standards and patient safety are not compromised.
- Represent Zoi in professional, academic, regulatory and healthcare forums when required.
- Develop a strong pipeline of clinical leaders and mentor department heads and senior medical professionals.
- Present clinical performance, risks, outcomes and improvement plans to the Managing Director, CEO and Board.
