Role Description
We are seeking a Medical Coding Trainer for a full-time on-site role located in the Pune Division. The trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs on medical coding, creating course materials, conducting lectures, and mentoring students. The role includes providing guidance on industry standards, conducting assessments, and staying updated on the latest trends and practices in medical coding to ensure high-quality training.
Qualifications
- Proven Coding Experience and knowledge in Medical Coding best practices
- Certification in RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) or similar credentials
- Comprehensive understanding of Health Information Management systems
- Expertise in Medical Terminology and its practical applications in coding
Additional qualifications that will be beneficial for this role:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Prior experience in teaching or training is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in healthcare coding practices.
