Job Description
Roles& Responsibilities:
· Perform accurate coding of diagnoses and CPT codes in accordance with ICD-10-CM and CPT guidelines.
· Ensure coding accuracy of at least 98%.
· Review and analyze medical records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accurate documentation.
· Work closely with healthcare providers to clarify documentation as needed for accurate coding.
· Stay up to date with the latest coding guidelines, ICD codes, and industry trends.
· Maintain confidentiality and always comply with HIPAA regulations.
· Communicate effectively with medical staff, patients, and other team members.
· Ensure coding is performed in a timely manner to avoid billing delays.
Requirements:
· CPC certification
· Minimum 2-5 years of experience
· General Surgery & SDS
· Should have an excellent command and proficiency in 1- 6 Series and all procedure coding
· Good Communication
· Accuracy 98%
· Candidate with no break in service
· Multispecialty coder (Cardiothoracic, vascular, orthopedics, general surgery, Ophthalmology, OBGYN, Plastics, Oncology, Radiation therapy, Neurology, gastro).
