Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Chennai for a Medical Coder specializing in Radiology Denials. The Medical Coder will be responsible for reviewing medical documentation, accurately assigning codes for radiology services, and analyzing denied claims to identify and rectify errors. The role also involves streamlining the coding and resubmission processes, maintaining compliance with coding guidelines, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and claims submission.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Coding and Coding Experience
• Familiarity with Medical Terminology and Health Information Management
• RHIT certification or equivalent professional credentials
• Strong analytical skills to address coding-related denials
• Knowledge of radiology-specific procedures and codes is a plus
• Keen attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Associate’s degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred
