Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Coder located in Chennai. The Medical Coder will be responsible for reviewing medical records, assigning accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures, understanding and applying medical terminology, and ensuring that medical data adheres to regulatory and compliance standards. The role will work closely with healthcare teams to maintain the accuracy and integrity of patient records.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Coding with a strong understanding of Medical Terminology.
- Basic knowledge or certification in RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) and Health Information Management.
- Prior coding experience or familiarity with medical record systems is a plus.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure coding accuracy.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and follow compliance guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or certification in medical coding.
