Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Billing Specialist located in Chennai. The Medical Billing Specialist will handle end-to-end medical billing processes, including reviewing patient information, claims processing, verification, and addressing insurance-related issues. Additional responsibilities include complying with healthcare regulations, ensuring accuracy in billing processes, and managing claim resolutions. The role also requires regular interactions with insurance providers, team coordination, and maintaining up-to-date records.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in medical billing, claims processing, and understanding insurance guidelines
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail for reviewing patient information and managing claim resolutions
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and billing system software
- Knowledge of medical coding, terminology, and billing processes is an advantage
- Exceptional communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with dedication to meeting deadlines
- Prior experience in a similar role and a related certification (e.g., Certified Professional Biller, CPC, or equivalent) is preferred
