Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Medical Billing Specialist. The role entails managing all aspects of the medical billing process, including handling insurance claims, addressing denials, coding diagnoses using ICD-10 standards, and working with Medicare and other insurance providers. The Medical Billing Specialist will ensure accurate and timely submissions, follow-ups on claims, and assist with revenue optimization for healthcare clients.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Medical Terminology and familiarity with industry-specific terminology
- Experience managing Insurance claims and workflows, including expertise with Medicare requirements
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding standards and ability to use them effectively
- Proficiency in identifying and resolving Denials in medical billing
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for patient and client interactions
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strong attention to detail
- Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management or related fields is highly preferred
