Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Billing Specialist located in Tamil Nadu, India. The role involves handling medical billing processes, including reviewing medical codes and claims, managing insurance claims, and resolving denials. The specialist will ensure compliance with relevant regulations like ICD-10 standards and manage tasks related to Medicare and other insurance claims. Timely follow-up and effective communication with insurance companies and healthcare providers are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Terminology and familiarity with ICD-10 coding standards
- Knowledge and experience in handling Denials management
- Understanding of Insurance processes, including Medicare and private insurance claims
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Relevant experience or training in medical billing or RCM is an advantage
