About the Role
5-Tek Medical India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Biller – Patient AR to join our growing Revenue Cycle Management team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Patient Accounts Receivable, insurance follow-ups, denial management, and claim resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Patient Accounts Receivable and perform insurance follow-ups.
- Review and resolve denied, rejected, and unpaid claims.
- Submit appeals and work towards maximizing reimbursements.
- Follow up with insurance companies regarding claim status and payment.
- Identify billing issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate documentation of account activities.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and payer-specific billing guidelines.
- Meet daily productivity and quality targets.
Required Qualifications
- 1.5–2 years of experience in US Medical Billing – Patient AR.
- Strong understanding of insurance follow-ups, denial management, and appeals.
- Familiarity with US healthcare billing processes and payer guidelines.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and medical billing software.
