Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Medical Billing Specialist. The responsibilities include managing end-to-end billing processes, reviewing and verifying medical records, handling denials and resubmissions, and ensuring accurate coding with adherence to ICD-10 standards. The role also involves working with insurance companies, handling Medicare claims, and maintaining compliance with organizational and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Medical Terminology and Insurance processes
- Proficiency in handling Denials and managing resubmission processes
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding standards
- Experience working with Medicare claims and compliance regulations
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with medical billing software or systems is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications in medical billing and coding preferred
