Experienced Medical Biller
We're looking for a skilled Medical Biller to join our team!
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the CMS 1500 form, a proven ability to submit accurate medical claims on time, and a strong grasp of insurance billing processes and HIPAA guidelines. You'll play a key role in resolving billing issues, processing payments, and keeping patient accounts current by working with patient records, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
· Ensuring compliance with all billing regulations and laws (e.g., HIPAA).
· Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
· Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance companies.
· Follow up on unpaid claims via phone calls and resolve denied or rejected claims.
· Post payments from insurance portals and scanned documents.
· Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless workflow.
Qualifications
· Knowledge of medical terminology and coding (e.g., CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS).
· Experience with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail
