Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Medical Biller. The Medical Biller will be responsible for processing medical billing, resolving claim denials, ensuring compliance with billing standards, reviewing patient data, and coordinating with insurance providers. The role also involves utilizing medical coding systems, like ICD-10, and supporting accurate claim submissions.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Medical Terminology and ICD-10 coding standards
- Experience in handling Denials and ensuring proper claim resolution
- Proficiency in understanding Insurance policies and Medicare guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry processes
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical billing regulations
- Familiarity with medical billing software and tools is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical billing or a related field is preferred
