Job Description: Team Lead, Clinical Affairs
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra
Compensation: Up to ₹45,00,000 (45 LPA)
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and medically qualified Team Lead, Clinical Affairs to drive our clinical development strategies and oversee trial executions. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a highly strategic leadership role. You will bridge the gap between clinical research and medical affairs, ensuring that our clinical programs are scientifically rigorous, compliant, and directly aligned with the company's high-level corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities: * Executive Clinical Strategy: Design, oversee, and execute end-to-end clinical development plans, acting as the primary clinical advisor to the CEO and executive board.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of clinical affairs professionals, fostering a culture of scientific excellence and accountability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the Medical Affairs team to ensure clinical strategies translate effectively into medical education, publication planning, and key opinion leader (KOL) engagement within the cardiology space.
- Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure all clinical trials and operations strictly adhere to ICH-GCP guidelines, CDSCO regulations, and internal standard operating procedures.
- Vendor & Resource Management: Manage relationships with CROs and external vendors while keeping tight control over clinical project timelines, deliverables, and departmental budgets.
Candidate Requirements: * Educational Background: MD is strictly required (Specialization or extensive clinical experience in Pharmacology or Cardiology is highly preferred).
- Core Experience: Extensive background in Clinical Affairs with overlapping or direct experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical or medical device sector.
- Leadership Track Record: Proven, direct experience managing teams and the ability to operate effectively at the executive reporting level.
- Location: Must be based in, or willing to relocate to, Mumbai.
