Role Description The Medical Accountant at Urban Money Private Limited will be responsible for managing and recording financial transactions related to medical and healthcare lending portfolios, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining ledgers, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, monitoring loan disbursements and repayments, and analyzing financial data for reporting and decision-making. The role will also involve collaborating with operations and sales teams, coordinating with partner banks and NBFCs, and supporting internal audits and compliance reviews. The Medical Accountant will assist in budgeting, cost tracking, and financial forecasting for healthcare-related loan products, while maintaining clear documentation and adhering to company policies. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Jaipur Area.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting and finance skills, including ledger management, account reconciliation, financial reporting, and basic taxation knowledge.
- Experience or understanding of banking, NBFC operations, and loan processing, preferably in medical or healthcare-related financial products.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software; ability to work with financial databases and generate analytical reports.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams, clients, and external financial partners.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA Inter) are an advantage.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry dynamics or medical billing processes is beneficial, along with familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards.
