Role Description
The Mediator will play a key role in facilitating conflict resolution by assisting parties to reach mutually agreeable outcomes. Daily responsibilities include evaluating cases, conducting mediation sessions, drafting agreements, maintaining confidentiality, and using Samnvay’s secure online platform. The role requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills to navigate complex disputes while ensuring a professional and peaceful resolution process. This is a part-time position.
Qualifications
- Qualified with Mediation Training programs.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Conflict resolution, mediation, and collaborative problem-solving experience
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and foster a neutral, objective environment
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate and navigate disputes
- Familiarity with legal principles and dispute resolution frameworks is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Conflict Resolution, Psychology, or a related field
- Proficiency in using digital tools and online platforms
- Fluency in English, and additional proficiency in other regional languages is advantageous
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
