Next Step HR is hiring an Experienced Media Buyer with a strong background in scaling DTC and e-commerce brands through data-led marketing, creative strategy, and revenue-focused digital growth solutions.
Location: Mumbai (on-site)
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, launch, manage, and scale paid advertising campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, and other performance channels
- Build full-funnel marketing strategies from awareness to conversion, ensuring seamless customer journey optimization
- Drive profitable scaling while maintaining target ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) and MER (Marketing Efficiency Ratio)
- Manage substantial monthly ad budgets (₹30L+ per month) with focus on revenue growth and efficiency
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop high-performing ad creatives, test variations, and optimize messaging
- Analyze campaign performance metrics, identify trends, and optimize based on data-driven insights
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of trends
- Identify scaling opportunities across channels, audiences, and creative formats to maximize growth potential
- Work closely with internal teams (creative, analytics, growth, product) to align strategies and achieve business goals
- Prepare detailed performance reports, present insights to stakeholders, and recommend strategic improvements
- Stay updated on platform changes, algorithm updates, industry trends, and emerging best practices in performance marketing
Requirements
Must-Haves:
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing and media buying for DTC/e-commerce brands
- Proven track record of scaling brands profitably with measurable revenue growth and ROI improvements
- Expert-level knowledge of Meta Ads Manager (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads platforms
- Experience managing monthly ad budgets of ₹30L+ consistently with strategic allocation and optimization
- Strong understanding of funnel optimization, conversion rate optimization, and customer acquisition strategies
- Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, Data Studio, etc.)
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience in Fashion, Beauty, Lifestyle, or Jewellery verticals strongly preferred
Good to Have:
- Experience with additional platforms (TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, YouTube Ads, Snapchat, etc.)
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM systems
- Experience with A/B testing frameworks and creative testing methodologies
- Exposure to influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, or partnership marketing
- Understanding of email marketing, SMS marketing, and retention strategies
- Familiarity with Shopify, WooCommerce, or other e-commerce platforms and integrations
