About the role

Job Summary

Quality Assurance Professional (Quality/Audits) is responsible for supporting all the teams within the Provider Management Department by consistently providing an easy, efficient and productive customer experience for our internal clients and to make sure MedRisk is proficient with procedures, protocols and provider database accuracy.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Complete Call audits for all of the teams in the Provider Management department, providing real time feedback for immediate coaching opportunities
  • Complete workflow reviews as needed to ensure correct workflow was followed.
  • Provide the tracking of completed audits to management.
  • Provide feedback to leadership team on trends that each team needs to focus on to ensure quality of work input
  • Participate in Quarterly Calibration meetings to ensure we are up to standard with department protocols/workflows
  • Identify potential or existing system and/or procedural challenges and notify leadership and assist in resolution if needed.
  • Consistently meet MedRisk Customer Service & Quality standards
  • Complete special projects or tasks as assigned by the Supervisor/Team Lead.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Formal Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum Work Experience:
  • Prior experience in health-related field and some knowledge of medical terminology/coding i.e.

CPT/HCPCS And ICD9 Experience a Plus, But Not Required.

  • Special Skills/Certifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written customer service skills demonstrating a can-do attitude.
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills.
  • Strong listening skills
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Detail oriented and solid organizational skills
  • Solid MS Word, Excel and Outlook experience
  • Must have ability to multi-task and work independently
