Pay range: $120-$145K DOE; Bonus Eligible.

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Location: Louisville, CO (will travel to all locations in the Denver Metro)

Position Summary

The Senior Facilities Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, compliance, and day-to-day operations of all facilities supporting GI of the Rockies clinics and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs). This role ensures all sites are maintained in a safe, compliant, and survey-ready state, with a strong focus on Fire & Life Safety, CMS Conditions for Coverage, and State of Colorado regulatory requirements.

 

This leader partners closely with clinical, operational, and executive teams to drive consistency, efficiency, and high standards across all locations.

 

Key Responsibilities

·        Oversee facility operations across clinics and endoscopy centers, including maintenance, repairs, and vendor management, including janitorial

·        Ensure continuous compliance with AAAHC, ADA, ASHRAE, CMS, CDPHE, CDPS, IBC, NFPA, OSHA, and other local requirements

·        Lead preparation and readiness for AAAHC, CDPHE, and CDPS-DFPC accreditation surveys, including mock surveys and corrective action plans

·        Manage environment of care programs, including safety, emergency preparedness, utilities, and infection control support

·        Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs and documentation for all critical systems (e.g., EPSS, HVAC, medical gas, fire/life safety systems)

·        Negotiate and administer commercial lease agreements for all leased properties

·        Assist with budget development for capital projects, renovations, and de novo facilities

·        Oversee capital projects, renovations, and facility expansions in partnership with leadership, architects, engineers, and contractors

·        Manage facility budgets, contracts, and cost control initiatives

·        Ensure accurate and audit-ready documentation across all sites

·        Partner with clinical leadership to support patient safety and operational flow


 Minimum Qualification

·        Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

·        5 to 7 years of facilities management experience, preferably in healthcare or ASC environments

·        Demonstrated experience with NFPA code compliance and CMS survey readiness

·        Strong knowledge of Colorado healthcare facility regulations

·        Proven leadership experience managing multi-site operations

·        Ability to interpret and implement regulatory standards into operational practice


Preferred Qualifications

·        Experience supporting GI practices and/or endoscopy centers

·        Familiarity with AAAHC or Joint Commission accreditation standards

·        Relevant certifications (e.g., CHFM, CHC, SASHE)

·        Strong project management and vendor negotiation skills

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including mobility between sites, accessing equipment and facility areas, and occasional lifting of materials up to 50 pounds.
