Role Description The Mechatronics Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving automated systems used in cold storage operations. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control system issues, and carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, refrigeration equipment interfaces, sensors, actuators, and control panels. The technician will assist in installing and commissioning new mechatronic systems, optimizing equipment performance, and documenting maintenance activities and system changes. Collaboration with operations, engineering, and safety teams is expected to ensure minimal downtime, adherence to safety standards, and reliable cold chain operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in mechanical systems maintenance and troubleshooting (e.g., gears, bearings, conveyors, and structural components).
- Candidates should possess strong skills in electrical and electronic systems (e.g., wiring, motors, drives, sensors, relays, and basic circuit diagnostics).
- Candidates should possess strong skills in control and automation technologies (e.g., PLC basics, control panels, HMI interfaces, and instrumentation used in automated warehousing or cold storage).
- Candidates should possess strong skills in technical problem-solving and diagnostics (e.g., using tools, test equipment, and manuals to identify root causes and implement effective solutions).
- Candidates should possess strong skills in safety practices and compliance (e.g., working safely around high-voltage equipment, machinery, and refrigerated environments, following SOPs and regulatory guidelines).
- Candidates should possess strong skills in documentation and communication (e.g., recording maintenance activities, reporting issues clearly, and coordinating with cross-functional teams).
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field is preferred.
- Experience in industrial automation, warehousing, logistics facilities, or cold storage environments is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Mehsana, Gujarat, respond to urgent maintenance needs, and adapt to shift or weekend work as required.
