We Are Hiring: Skilled Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support plant maintenance, machine reliability, and smooth production operations.
Position Details
Role: Mechanical Technician
Qualification: ITI / Diploma (Mechanical)
Experience: 2–5 Years
Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial Plant Operations
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical fitting, assembly, and installation of industrial machinery
- Handle breakdown maintenance of production machines and utility systems
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities (PM/CM)
- Carry out alignment, coupling, lubrication, and replacement of machine components
- Assist in machine erection, installation, and commissioning work
- Diagnose mechanical faults and ensure quick restoration of equipment
- Maintain tools, spares, and maintenance records systematically
- Ensure maximum machine uptime with minimum breakdowns
- Follow strict safety standards and disciplined shop-floor practices
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth operations
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong hands-on experience in mechanical fitting and maintenance work
- Good knowledge of industrial machines, bearings, shafts, pumps, and assemblies
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and technical instructions
- Experience in manufacturing or plant maintenance environment preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work in shift-based industrial environment
- Team-oriented mindset with discipline and safety awareness
- Knowledge of TPM / 5S practices will be an added advantage
Preferred Skills
- Machine maintenance and breakdown handling experience
- Precision fitting, alignment, and assembly work
- Knowledge of industrial tools and measuring instruments
- Strong hands-on exposure to plant maintenance operations
