Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Quality Manager located in Muzaffarpur. The Mechanical Quality Manager will oversee quality assurance processes within the mechanical engineering department, ensuring compliance with international standards and internal procedures. Responsibilities include supervising quality inspections, conducting audits, generating inspection and testing plans, analyzing quality data, collaborating with project teams to resolve quality-related issues, and maintaining documentation. Maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to safety protocols will also be a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Inspection techniques, with a focus on mechanical engineering processes
- Experience in developing and implementing Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and adhering to international quality standards
- Strong understanding of construction and manufacturing processes, including knowledge of welding, fabrication, and materials
- Skilled in data analysis, reporting, and maintaining detailed quality documentation
- Effective communication and leadership abilities for managing teams and collaborating with project stakeholders
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools required for documentation and analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a relevant master’s degree or certifications (e.g., ISO or Six Sigma) are advantageous
- Proven experience working in the EPC, construction, or manufacturing industries with a strong focus on quality management
- Familiarity with regulatory and safety compliance standards
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
