Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Production Planning Engineer based in Pune. The Production Planning Engineer will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating manufacturing activities to ensure efficient production of vacuum chamber, components and systems. The role involves close coordination with design, procurement, production, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to quality standards.
Salary: 2.4L to 4.8L depending on the interview.
Key Skills Required
- Experience in production planning, scheduling, and capacity planning
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, especially machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing requirements
- Knowledge of materials such as Stainless Steel (SS) and other engineering materials
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory control
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced production environment
- Good communication skills for vendor and internal coordination
Preferred Qualification / Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of relevant production planning experience, OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 3 years of production planning experience
