We are looking for a Mechanical Procurement professional with experience in solar/renewable energy projects to join our growing team.
📍 Location: Mumbai
💼 Experience: 8 – 12 Years
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement of mechanical components for solar projects such as module mounting structures, trackers, fasteners, and related equipment.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Handle RFQs, vendor negotiations, price comparisons, and contract finalization.
- Coordinate with engineering, project, and site teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Track purchase orders and ensure on-time delivery aligned with project timelines.
- Maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance.
🎯 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 8 – 12 years of experience in procurement/supply chain, preferably in solar, EPC, or renewable energy projects.
- Strong vendor negotiation and contract management skills.
- Knowledge of solar mechanical components and project procurement cycles is preferred.
