Eligibility & Role Details
(Freshers eligible for Internship role | 1–2 years experienced candidates eligible for Engineer role)

- Internship with PPO (for freshers)
- Permanent role (for experienced candidates)
- Domain: Defence – Robotics, IoT Systems & Training Simulators
- Educational Qualification: BE/BTech/MTech in Mechanical / Production Engineering or related field
- Work Requirement: Candidate must carry their own laptop for work
Compensation Structure
For Experienced Candidates (1-2 Years Experience)
Compensation: Based on skills, experience, and technical evaluation
For Internship Candidates (0-6 Months Experience)
- Internship Duration: 12 months (extendable based on performance)
- Stipend: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month (subject to knowledge & skills)
- PPO / Permanent Employment: Based on performance
Important Note
This role involves extensive coordination with vendors, manufacturing teams, and production activities, requiring strong ownership and execution capabilities. The position includes hands-on involvement in manufacturing follow-ups, quality inspections, component handling, and production support activities.
Not suitable for:
- Candidates seeking purely design-only or theoretical roles
- Candidates expecting only desk-based coordination work
- Candidates unwilling to work closely with vendors, shop-floor activities, and manufacturing processes

Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer / Intern to support our design-to-manufacturing activities. The role involves coordinating with external vendors and the internal design team to ensure that components are manufactured as per engineering requirements. The selected candidate will apply their knowledge of different manufacturing methods and materials to evaluate feasibility, ensure quality, and track progress with vendors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Vendor Management & Coordination
a. Independently coordinate with vendors for manufacturing activities involving machining, fabrication, welding, sheet metal, casting, and related processes
b. Manage end-to-end vendor follow-up from RFQ stage to delivery
c. Ensure timely execution and adherence to committed delivery schedules
d. Resolve basic manufacturing and vendor-related issues proactively
2. Production & Design Coordination
a. Review engineering drawings and support manufacturability assessments
b. Coordinate with design teams for clarification of technical requirements
c. Ensure smooth transition of designs into manufacturing execution
d. Minimize manufacturing errors through effective communication and coordination
3. Quality Monitoring & Inspection
a. Perform primary quality inspections of manufactured components
b. Identify deviations, defects, and non-conformities
c. Coordinate corrective actions with vendors and internal stakeholders
d. Maintain quality records and inspection documentation
4. Cost & Lead time Monitoring
a. Support cost estimation and quotation evaluation activities
b. Track vendor lead times and manufacturing progress
c. Identify risks impacting schedules and escalate proactively
d. Contribute towards process optimization and cost-saving initiatives
5. Documentation & Reporting
a. Maintain manufacturing trackers, vendor status reports, and issue logs
b. Prepare weekly progress updates and execution reports
c. Ensure documentation accuracy and traceability of manufacturing activities
6. Ownership & Accountability
a. Execute assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision
b. Demonstrate accountability for deliverables, timelines, and coordination activities
c. Take initiative in resolving operational challenges and improving workflows
d. Maintain professional communication with vendors and internal teams
Desired Skills & Knowledge (Must have)
1. Strong academic background in Mechanical / Production Engineering (recently graduated).
2. Practical exposure to:
a. Machining (milling, turning, drilling, grinding)
b. Welding techniques (Arc, MIG, TIG, etc.)
c. Sheet metal fabrication (cutting, bending, forming)
d. Lathe operations
e. Casting and forging processes
3. Knowledge of material science, including classification of materials, grades, and their industrial applications.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing standards.
5. Good understanding of quality inspection and manufacturing tolerances.
6. Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Telugu for effective coordination with vendors and team members.
7. Good understanding of workplace safety in a manufacturing environment.
8. Proficiency in MS Excel, documentation, and reporting.
9. Good problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
1. BE/BTech/MTech graduates in mechanical engineering or related field.
2. Prior experience in manufacturing, vendor development, production coordination, or mechanical engineering operations preferred.
3. Familiarity with measurement instruments and quality inspection methods.
4. Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360) will be an added advantage
