Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at our Pune Division location. The role involves performing routine maintenance and repairs, ensuring the optimal performance of mechanical equipment, and conducting preventive maintenance. The engineer will troubleshoot equipment issues, implement effective maintenance solutions, and ensure that all machinery adheres to reliability and safety standards. Additional responsibilities include supporting facility operations and collaborating across teams to maintain production efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance
- Solid understanding of Mechanical Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering principles
- Hands-on experience in Maintenance & Repair, including troubleshooting and resolving mechanical equipment issues
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of aluminium recycling or metal processing industries is advantageous
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance standards
- Good knowledge of hydraulics systems
- Basic understanding of automobile and mechanical maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Hands-on experience with maintenance tools and equipment
