Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Bhopal Area for a Mechanical Maintenance Incharge. The position involves overseeing mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring the efficient functioning and upkeep of heavy machinery including presses and hammers. Responsibilities include maintenance planning, equipment inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, managing repairs, and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) tools for equipment modifications or upgrades. The role will also require collaboration with the engineering and operations teams to enhance performance and ensure the smooth execution of daily operations.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Maintenance and Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and its application in mechanical systems.
- Experience in conducting thorough inspections of heavy machinery and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Knowledge of Automotive and related industry standards and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Prior experience in the Forging, Steel, Power, or related heavy equipment sectors is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate across departments.
