Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, located in Bhilai. The engineer will be responsible for overseeing maintenance tasks and ensuring the efficient operation of mechanical equipment. Key responsibilities include conducting regular equipment maintenance, implementing preventive maintenance strategies, overseeing repairs, and ensuring machinery performs optimally. The role also involves diagnosing and addressing equipment issues, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards, and contributing to the improvement of maintenance systems.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance, including diagnosing and addressing performance issues
- Strong skills in Maintenance Engineering and Mechanical Maintenance
- Experience in Preventive Maintenance to minimize breakdowns and ensure optimal equipment performance
- Expertise in Maintenance & Repair to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical system issues
- Understanding of safety standards and operational guidelines in a heavy industrial setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Experience in the steel or manufacturing industry is an advantage
